Wilson

Wilson is about forty-five minutes east of Raleigh and full of the kind of older brick that makes repointing worth doing right: soft, handsome brick where a hard modern mortar would do more damage than the missing joints. We match mortar to the brick, not to the bag.

Chimney work is the other regular call here — cracked crowns, loose top courses, and flashing that has been leaking quietly into a ceiling. We rebuild from sound masonry up, pour a sloped crown with a proper overhang, and cap the flue.

New work is welcome too: patios, walkways, retaining walls and outdoor fireplaces. We schedule eastern jobs in blocks so the drive does not turn into a delay on your start date.
