A Masonry Crew, Not a Sales Office
Ten years of stone, brick and block across Raleigh and the Triangle. The person who walks your job on estimate day is the person laying the stone.
One trade, learned properly, done the same way every time
Tudi Stone Masonry is a Raleigh-area masonry contractor run by Antonio Torres. Masonry is the whole business — not a service line bolted onto a landscaping company, not something a general crew picks up between jobs. Stone, brick, block and concrete, more than ten years of it, which is about how long it takes before you stop guessing and start knowing what a wall is going to do.
Most of what we do is outdoor: patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, fire pits, pizza ovens, outdoor fireplaces and chimneys. The rest is structural and rarely seen — footings, block foundations, slabs, piers and the drainage that keeps all of it dry. Both halves come down to the same discipline. Dig to firm ground. Compact a real base. Give the water somewhere to go. Then lay the stone, cut every piece to fit, and tool the joints so the wall reads as stonework rather than something poured into a mold.
We keep the operation small on purpose. The crew that shows up is our crew, the estimate is written and itemized before anything starts, and the phone gets answered around the clock — because the questions people actually have about a job rarely arrive between nine and five.
What we stand for
Six standards we hold ourselves to on every project — big or small.
Cut, Never Forced
Every piece of stone sized and cut to its place in the wall.
Base Before Face
Excavation, compaction and drainage before anything decorative.
Straight Answers
Itemized prices, honest timelines, and a no when a job needs an engineer.
Dates We Keep
A start date and a finish date in writing, weather called honestly.
Respect for the Property
Access protected, mortar contained, and the site swept before we leave.
Built to Outlast Us
Materials and methods chosen for the next forty years, not the photo.
A better service experience, by design
Generic promises are easy. We focus on the habits that actually make the difference.
Four steps from first call to final walkthrough
A clean, predictable process so you always know what's next.
We Come Look
We walk the site, check the grade and the drainage, and tell you what the job actually needs — including the parts nobody wants to pay for.
Written Estimate
Materials, square footage, base depth, drainage and labor, itemized. Free, and good for 30 days.
We Build It
Our own crew, on the schedule we agreed to. Base and drainage first, then the stone, cut and set by hand.
Walk It Together
We wash the work down, clean the site, and walk every joint and riser with you before the final invoice.
