South Wake and northern Harnett County give us more room and more slope than the neighborhoods closer in, which means more retaining walls, more terracing, and more of the structural side of masonry — footings, block foundations, stem walls and slabs for additions, garages and shops.

We build the structural work to the same standard as the decorative work: dig to firm ground, pour a footing sized for the load, lay block level and plumb to the line, fill and reinforce cores where the plan calls for it, and put drainage and waterproofing in before anything gets backfilled.
