Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill is stone country. The lots are wooded and rolling, the houses are set into grade rather than on top of it, and the masonry that fits is natural stone — low garden walls, flagstone terraces that step down a slope, and stone treads on the paths between them.

That kind of work is slow by nature. Every piece gets picked up, looked at, turned over and cut before it goes down, and a terrace that takes an extra two days to lay is a terrace that looks right for the next forty years. We would rather quote it honestly than rush it.
