Apex

Apex grew fast, and a lot of its lots were cut into a slope and then handed over with a strip of sod and a downspout pointed at the property line. That is the job we get called for: hold the grade, get the water off the lot, and turn what is left into somewhere you would actually sit.

The answer is usually a retaining wall with real backfill and a drain line, a level terrace above or below it, and a patio with a fire pit set into it. We build the wall and the patio as one project so the caps, the borders and the stone all agree with each other instead of looking like two jobs that happened in different years.

Estimates are free, we lay the footprint out on the ground before we dig, and the written scope includes where the water ends up — which is the part most quotes leave out.
